Counter Strike 2: Eternal Fire part ways with its coach yT..

Turkish Counter Strike 2 (CS2) organizaton Eternal Fire announced via its official X (Twitter) account on Tuesday that the team has decided to part ways with its coach, yT.

yT had taken over as the team's new coach from ElPrincipe in May. However, aside from winning qualifiers for a few Tier-2 events, the team's recent performance across multiple tournaments was dismal, forcing Eternal Fire to make changes.

While yT's successor has not yet been named, Eternal Fire must urgently find a coach capable of stop the team's decline and turning the situation around.

The 31-year-old yT originally joined Eternal Fire as a player of its VALORANT e-sports team in 2021. He transitioned to the role of strategic coach and team manager in 2023 and began serving as the team's head coach in early 2026.

In May 2026, following ElPrincipe's departure, yT took on the additional role of head coach for Eternal Fire's Counter Strike 2 (CS2) e-sports team, marking his first foray into the CS2 competitive scene.

During his four-month tenure, yT led the team to victory in the European Pro League Series 8 and secured a fourth-place finish in the recently concluded Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Beijing Global Qualifiers.
