Young Bayern Munich winger Arijon Ibrahimović officially joins Augsburg on-loan..

Augsburg announced on their official website on Monday that Bayern Munich's Germany U21s international winger Arijon Ibrahimović has joined the club on-loan.

According to Augsburg's official statement, Ibrahimović will play for the club on -oan until the end of the season, with the agreement including a non-mandatory buyout clause. He will wear the number 21 jersey.

After completing his transfer procedures, Ibrahimović, who was interviewed by the Augsburg official website for the first time, said: "I am really looking forward to this new challenge at Augsburg, as it is an ambitious Bundesliga club. I also hope to continue developing and gain regular playing time. My goal now is to integrate into the team as quickly as possible and contribute to a successful season."

About Arijon Ibrahimović

Ibrahimović, who is only still 20 years old, was born on December 11, 2005, in Nuremberg, Germany. He is 1.76 meters tall and primarily plays as a left winger but can also play as a right winger or as an attacking midfielder. He holds dual German and Kosovar citizenship and is not related to the legendary former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Ibrahimović played for the youth academies of Greuther Fürth and Nuremberg during his childhood before joining Bayern Munich's youth academy in 2018. He began playing for their reserve team in 2022 and completed his Bayern Munich first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in February of the following year. At just 17 years old, he set a record by becoming the second-youngest player to make his debut for the club.

Between the summer of 2023 and the first half of this year, Ibrahimović had loan spells at Frosinone, Lazio, and Heidenheim. 

Since making his debut, Ibrahimović has so far made only 4 appearances for Bayern across all competitions without recording a goal or an assist; nevertheless, he has still won the Bundesliga title twice and the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup (DFL-Supercup) once with the team.
