1. Elgin Baylor ( 11,463 rebounds)

Elgin Baylor is the first of five Lakers Hall of Famers to join the all-time rebounding list. He averaged 24.9 points and 15.0 rebounds in his rookie season. In his first seven seasons with the Lakers, he averaged at least 12 rebounds per game each season . From 1966 to 1970 , Baylor averaged over 10 rebounds per game for four consecutive seasons , consistently demonstrating his dominance in the paint. During his 14 seasons with the Lakers, he averaged 13.5 rebounds per game.

2. Kareem Abdul - Jabbar ( 10,279 rebounds )

In his first six seasons with the Lakers, Kareem Abdul - Jabbar averaged over 10 rebounds per game , reaching a career high of 16.9 in the 1975-76 season . In the following four seasons, he never averaged less than 7.3 rebounds per game . Over his 14 seasons with the Lakers, Abdul-Jabbar averaged 9.4 rebounds per game.

5. Wilt Chamberlain ( 6,524 rebounds )

Although Wilt Chamberlain averaged 21.1 rebounds per game in his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers after joining the team in 1968 , he continued his dominance in rebounding for the next four seasons, averaging at least 18.2 rebounds per game. In 339 games for the Lakers , Chamberlain averaged 19.2 rebounds per game.
