Inter Milan completes contract extension with Italy international forward wonderkid Francesco Pio Esposito..

Inter Milan announced on their official website on Monday that the club has extended the contract of its Italy international forward wonderkid Francesco Pio Esposito.

According to the Inter Milan's official statement, Pio Esposito has signed on a new long-term six-year deal which runs until the summer of 2032.

After completeing his contract extension procedures, Pio Esposito, who was interviewed by the Inter Milan official website again, said: "I have to say, this is a truly emotional moment. On the drive over here, I felt a mix of nerves and excitement. Why? Because I view this as a major milestone in both my life and my professional career."

"It is by no means the finish line, but rather a starting point for continuing on this path. It serves as recognition of the work I’ve put in so far; now, my goal is to maintain this momentum and keep working hard."

About Francesco Pio Esposito

Pio Esposito, who is only still 21 years old, was born on June 28, 2005, in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy. He is 1.91 meters tall and plays as a center forward. He comes from a footballing family; his father, Agostino, and his older brothers, Salvatore and Sebastiano, are also professional footballers.

Pio Esposito joined Brescia's youth academy alongside his two older brothers at a young age before moving to Inter Milan's youth academy in 2014. He was promoted to Inter's first-team in 2023.

In August of that same year, he was sent on a two-year loan to Spezia, reuniting with his eldest brother, Salvatore.

During his time at Spezia, his outstanding performances led to persistent, baseless rumours spread by the notoriously infamous Chinese online media outlet Dong Qiu Di, which falsely claimed he had "already been signed by Feyenoord".

Upon returning to the club following the conclusion of his loan in 2025, Pio Esposito established himself as a key first-team player for the Inter Milan first-team squad. 

Since starrted playing for I Nerazzurri, Pio Esposito has so far made 53 appearances for Inter Milan across all competitions, recording 12 goals and 8 assists; where he has won both the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia once, and was notably the subject of a fake rumour by Dong Qiu Di, which baselessly claimed that he had "already been signed by Arsenal" in February 2026.
