Hull City completes contract extension with Algeria international forward Mohamed Belloumi..

Hull City announced on their official website on Monday that the club has extended the contract of its Algeria international forward Mohamed Belloumi.

According to Hull City's official statement, Belloumi has signed on a new three-year deal which runs until the summer of 2029.

About Mohamed Belloumi

The 24-year-old Belloumi was was born on June 1, 2002, in Mascara, Algeria. He is 1.77 meters tall and primarily plays as a right winger but can also plays as a left winger, a center-forward, or as an attacking midfielder. His father, Lakhdar, is regarded as one of the greatest Algerian players in football's history.

Belloumi began his youth career at his hometown club, GC Mascara. In 2020, he moved to the youth academy of the Algerian powerhouse MC Oran, before completing his MC Oran first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in January of the following year.

Having begun to frequently contribute goals and assists just six months into his professional career, he quickly attracted the attention of mid to small European clubs.

In February 2022, Belloumi joined SC Farense for a fee of €100,000.

During his two-year spell at SC Farense, he helped the team reach the Round of 32s of the Taça do Portugal once.

On the 2024 summer transfer window deadline day, Belloumi joined Hull City for £4.75 million.

Since joining The Tigers, Belloumi has so far made 39 appearances across all competitions for the newly promoted Premier League club, scoring 5 goals, assisting 7times, and was part of the squad that won the EFL Championship promotion play-offs final.
