Counter Strike 2: Former OpTic ace head coach ruggah officially announce retirement..

Ruggah, the Danish ace head coach formerly of the Counter Strike (CS) organization OpTic, has announced his retirement via his official X (Twitter) account on Monday, bringing a decade-long coaching career to a close.

In his official statement, Ruggah said: "After ten years of coaching Counter Strike (CS) teams, I have decided it is time to step down."

"I sincerely thank everyone who has walked this path with me. It has been an incredible and unforgettable journey. Thank you all."

Ruggah previously won the EPICENTER tournament with Dignitas and subsequently coached North, OpTic, and OG.

For the past two years, he had been with Astralis.

However, he was released by Astralis following a poor performance at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Cologne.

He was replaced by NEO, and Ruggah did not join a new team during the summer break that followed.

During this spell, he appeared as an analyst on the broadcast team for the BLAST Open Porto, ultimately deciding to retire the day after the tournament concluded.
