Radyslav Krejci: I will fight with all my might for the team's goals and contribute to the best of my ability.

Radislav Krejć was pleased with Wolves' ability to secure a draw away to Birmingham City and a point, especially considering the team's sustained pressure on their defense in the second half. The Czech centre-back returned to Cesar Peschoto's starting lineup and made his first start of the season at St Andrews, adding a highlight to his return with a goal. With 10 minutes remaining in the first half, Krejć's powerful header put Wolves ahead 2-1.  

However, after Birmingham City twice equalized, Radislav Krejci said that Wolves were able to hold their ground and take a point away from home back to the West Midlands in the face of the home team's relentless attacks, which was a satisfactory result.  

After the match, Radyslav Krejci said, "From a personal point of view, I am very happy to be back on the field and play a full 90 minutes. However, from the perspective of the team's final result, I am obviously not satisfied."  

"The second half was not an easy game for us, but we must find the positive aspects of this match and translate those lessons into practical help in future games. We know that there is still a long way to go this season, so the most important thing now is to keep going and keep moving forward."  

When discussing the team's failure to secure a victory, Radyslav Krejci said, "I think my teammates who have played in this league before understand this better than I do. However, I have always heard and experienced firsthand that this competition is full of changes, and the results can vary greatly."  

“I’m not very familiar with the game here yet, but from the opening stages, we performed quite well in terms of ball control and were able to take the initiative on the field. However, in the second half, our attacking organization was somewhat limited, and we often had to rely on long passes to advance the game.”  

“We tried to take the initiative in contesting the first and second balls, but it was clear that our opponents were better at it. As the match progressed, they gradually gained control of the field. At the same time, our attempts to find opportunities through fast counterattacks were not very effective, so the match ultimately unfolded as it did, with the situation constantly changing.”  

"Faced with such immense pressure, we showed great resilience on the defensive end, and everyone remained united, which is commendable. It was crucial for us to withstand the opponent's continued attacks in the second half and not concede another goal. However, our goal is to be a team that can dominate the game and challenge for the top spot in the league. Therefore, this match also served as a reminder that after winning the second ball, we must handle the ball more calmly, regain possession, and bring the game back to our own rhythm."  

Speaking about scoring a goal upon returning to the starting lineup, Radyslav Krejcić said, "It feels really wonderful to have a performance like this. This is exactly what I've always wanted to do, and it's one of the things that attracts me to football, so I really enjoyed this moment. This goal is very meaningful to me because there have been many different opinions from the outside world before, some of which are unfriendly, but of course there have also been some positive comments. As a player, especially a professional player, you have to gradually learn to face these opinions and then continue to focus on yourself, even if some of them are not true."  

"But as professional players, we must find ways to face and deal with these issues. What I want to say most to the fans is thank you for your continued support. I will repay this trust with my performance on the field, because I know very well how important this support is to me. At the same time, I will do my best for the team's common goals, and when needed, I will definitely be the first to step up and contribute my strength."
