Al-Shabab's Swiss international midfielder Vincent Sierro officially joins Parma on a free transfer..

Parma announced on their official website on Sunday that Al-Shabab's Swiss international midfielder Vincent Sierro has joined the club on a free transfer.

According to the newly promoted Serie A side's official statement, Sierro has signed on a short-term one-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2027.

About Vincent Sierro

The 30-year-old Vincent Sierro was born on October 8, 1995, in Sion, Switzerland. He is 1.85 meters tall and primarily plays as a center midfielder, but can also play as an attacking midfielder or a defensive midfielder. Both his grandfather and father were amateur footballers in Switzerland.

Sierro joined FC Sion's youth academy at a young age; he began playing for their B team in 2013 and completed his first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in May 2015.

In January 2017, Sierro joined SC Freiburg for a fee of €1 million. However, he saw very limited playing time during his spell with the club.

The following summer, he joined St. Gallen on-loan.

In July 2019, Sierro moved to Young Boys for €1.5 million.

During his three-and-a-half-year stint with Young Boys, he won both the Swiss Super League title and the Swiss Cup once each.

In January 2023, Sierro joined Toulouse for €1 million.

During his two-year spell at Toulouse, he won the Coupe de France once.

In August 2025, Sierro joined Al-Shabab for €3 million.

Last season, he made 28 appearances across all competitions for the Saudi Pro League powerhouse, scoring one goal.
