Luis García Praza believes the players proved themselves with their performance and the team deserved three points.

Sevilla manager Luis García Praza spoke about the team's disappointing result of conceding a last-minute equalizer in stoppage time after their away game against Espanyol.  

He said, "There were many things that happened in this match. We didn't have an easy time in the first half, so we made some adjustments to the team afterwards. As the game progressed, we gradually found our rhythm in terms of possession. The team's performance gradually improved from the initial unsatisfactory state and eventually showed a better form, especially in the second half."  

"With one less player on the field, the pressure on the team is inevitable. However, we still proved our competitiveness, and from the overall performance, we fully deserved the three points. Unfortunately, we failed to contain that attack, and we need to be more mature in defending in the penalty area. Of course, if a game can be played without making any mistakes, then everything will naturally look perfect."  

“However, I am very proud of the players, and we finally got a point. I think this should be the first time I have drawn a game since I started coaching this team. Now, we need to make this point more valuable and try to do the same when we play Valencia at home. In front of our own fans, against a team that is going through a painful period, we must do everything we can to win.”  

When discussing the team's fighting spirit and stating that Aruna Sangant's foul "did not warrant a red card," Luis García Praza said, "This is a quality we've always wanted to build in our team; we demand competitiveness in every match. Against Atlético Madrid, we intensified our attack in the second half, actively seeking opportunities to win and successfully scoring. Today, even with one less player, the team still demonstrated strong competitiveness."  

“I am very proud of these players, and equally proud of the fans who came to support us. But now, we must turn our attention to Valencia, because we need to be proactive and try to beat them in the game.”
