Team Falcons has officially announced its withdrawal from the professional Dota 2 scene.

Saudi Arabian esports club Team Falcons officially announced on September 7 that it will withdraw from the professional Dota 2 scene.

In its statement, the club said the decision was made after a strategic review of its multi-project development plans for 2026 and beyond. Going forward, the club will shift its global business focus to esports projects that are more strategically aligned and offer greater long-term operational stability.

Team Falcons entered the Dota 2 scene in November 2023, forming a fixed roster of Skiter, Malr1ne, ATF, Cr1t-, and Sneyking, and soon after hired Aui_2000 as coach.

Over the past three years, the five-man lineup has demonstrated an extremely high level of skill, playing together in 799 professional matches and winning 523 of them, achieving a win rate of 65.46%. They have won 9 top-tier tournament titles and even defeated their opponents to win the TI 2025 Grand Finals.

However, at the recently concluded TI 2026, the defending champions Falcons finished in 7th or 8th place, marking their farewell performance on the competitive stage. Following the team's elimination, both player Cr1t- and coach Aui_2000 expressed their intention to retire.

Following the club's official announcement of its departure, the remaining four players have not yet announced their next career plans, but they are expected to attract significant attention in the upcoming free agency market. Players ATF and Skitter subsequently posted messages expressing their gratitude to the club, teammates, and supporters.

Falcons' departure marks the official disbandment of this dominant five-man roster and is a landmark event in the post-TI 2026 esports landscape reshuffle.
