BLAST Porto Open: MOUZ defeats Vitality to advance to the final

In the semifinals of the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) BLAST Porto Open 2026, MOUZ defeated Vitality 2-0, successfully securing their ticket to the finals.

This victory not only broke MOUZ's losing streak against Vitality since the Chengdu event in November 2025, but also set them up to face Spirit again in the Grand Finals.

The first map for both teams was Dust2. MOUZ gained an advantage in the first half, leading 8-4 at the start. After switching sides, Vitality tried to catch up on the defensive side, but their B site defense faltered.

Due to jL's repeated mistakes on the defensive end of the B site after coming on as a substitute, MOUZ decisively launched a series of attacks on that point and achieved results, ultimately winning the map 13-11 in a thrilling manner.

The next map is Mirage. The score went back and forth in the first half, with the game remaining very close. In the second half, MOUZ's CT side displayed extremely high stability in their defense, leaving their opponents little room to mount a counterattack.

Spinx, the team's core player, performed exceptionally well, securing multiple crucial kills in key rounds and helping the team completely control the game's tempo. Vitality's offense struggled to break through, and ultimately MOUZ won the second game 13-7, ending the match.

Vitality was eliminated in the semifinals due to the absence of mezii and the team's in-form nature. Meanwhile, the in-form MOUZ will face Spirit in the grand finals for the tournament championship.
