Jaden Joseph has signed a contract extension with Leicester City, extending his contract until 2030.

Leicester City have officially announced that Jaden Joseph has signed a new four-year contract with the club. This means the player will continue to wear the Leicester City jersey, with the contract running until the summer of 2030.  

20-year-old Jaden Joseph has quickly showcased his talent since the start of the new season. He has played six games for Leicester City so far, making appearances in five of them. Notably, in the season opener against Notts County, Jaden Joseph made his league debut for Leicester City and scored a goal, getting the new season off to a good start.  

Jaden Joseph is a product of Leicester City's youth academy and is one of the club's key young players. He joined the team's academy at the U16 level and gradually demonstrated his potential as he developed. In the 2025/26 season, he was loaned to Tranmere Rovers, where he gained valuable match experience and showed good growth.  

In an interview with Leicester City's official website, Jaden Joseph spoke about his feelings after signing a contract extension. He said, "I'm very happy to stay at Leicester City. It's hard to find a reason to refuse a contract extension offer from a club like this. I've had a lot of great time here, so I'm really looking forward to continuing to play for the team. More importantly, I feel very honored and happy to be a part of the club's future plans."  

Leicester City's sporting director, James McCullen, also praised Jaden Joseph's development. He said, "Jaden Joseph has made remarkable progress during his time at the club, and we have always seen his potential and room for future development. We are delighted to continue working with him. He will continue to wear the Leicester City shirt, and we look forward to him gaining further experience in the first team and improving himself at a higher level."

Jaden Joseph was born in Huddersfield and trained in Manchester City's youth academy before moving to Leicester City in the U16 stage. In 2024, he officially signed his first professional contract with Leicester City. To further gain first-team experience, Jaden Joseph was loaned to Tranmere Rovers for the 2025/26 season, where he gained valuable professional playing time.  

Jaden Joseph's performances at Plenton Park gradually earned him recognition, and he slowly established himself in the Wirral team. In the 2025/26 season, he played for Tranmere Rovers in all competitions, making 35 appearances and contributing 3 goals.  

Under Russell Martin's guidance, Jaden Joseph has earned consistent starting opportunities this season and has gradually become an important member of the team. Playing as a right-back, he has repeatedly demonstrated excellent form in matches, delivering a standout performance overall.
