Manchester City officially announce the signing of Everton's Senegal international forward Iliman Ndiaye..

Manchester City announced on their official website on Wednesday that they have signed Everton's Senegal international forward Iliman Ndiaye.

According to Manchester City's official statement, Ndiaye has signed on a long-term five-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2031.

After completing his transfer procedures, Ndiaye, who was interviewed by the Manchester City official website for the first time, said, "I've been working my whole life for an opportunity like this."

"Manchester City is one of the best clubs in the world, and I've witnessed them win every honor since I was a child."

About Iliman Ndiaye

The 26-year-old Ndiaye was born on March 6, 2000, in Rouen, France. He is 1.80 meters tall and primarily plays as a right winger, but can also play as a left winger or center forward. He holds dual French and Senegalese citizenship.

Ndiaye joined the youth academy of his hometown club Rouen at the age of nine, then Marseille's youth academy in 2011, Senegalese club Dakar Sacré-Cœur's youth academy in 2014, and English non-league club Boreham Wood's youth academy in 2016.

After graduating, Ndiaye joined Sheffield United on the 2019 summer transfer window deadline day, but was immediately loaned-out to non-league club Hyde United.

Upon returning to the club at the end of his loan spell at the following summer, Ndiaye completed his Sheffield United first-team by coming on as a substitute in March 2021.

During his time with the Blades, Ndiaye helped the team reach the FA Cup quarter-finals once.

In August 2023, Ndiaye returned to Marseille for €20 million. During his time there, he helped the team reach the Europa League semi-finals.

The following July, Ndiaye joined Everton for £15 million.

During his two-year spell with the Toffees, Ndiaye made 74 appearances for the Premier League club in all competitions, scored 17 goals and provided 4 assists.
