The mid lane is still stuck with Hai Nuo, who has transitioned to a warrior-tank build, expanding the confrontation lane. Diao Chan has also been poached. Aside from the Yuanliu mage, the real "new hero" is Hai Yue, which was several years ago, during the era of skin rain. After experiencing tool-based development, it returned to burst-style development. This season added the Wuxiang artifact, which adjusts its attributes according to the hero's skill mechanism. Initially, many high-level players thought it would help raise the ceiling, but by the middle of the season, it turned out to be a version trap, proving that the national server's combat power is already high.

Xiao Qiao replaced Yang Yuhuan

The mid-lane's power level doesn't fluctuate as much as the top lane. The beginner-friendly picks are Angela and Tank, with Xiao Qiao being the only exception, ranking quite high at sixth, pushing Yang Yuhuan down to seventh. Perhaps this symbolizes that in fast-paced matches, burst damage is more effective than utility-focused strategies. Yang Yuhuan has sustain, healing, stuns, and her ultimate grants invulnerability, allowing for frequent poke and prolonged battles, which are her strongest tactics. However, she still can't match Xiao Qiao's ability to easily take down a target with a single fan throw in the late game. In contrast, Yang Yuhuan requires close-range engagement to ensure the opponent remains within her magic circle, providing significant support. For a mid-laner to break into the top ten is only achievable by top-tier players. It's unimaginable what it would be like for players of all ranks to play ranked matches.

Chang'e is the undisputed queen of the moon.

Chang'e holds the top spot, a position reserved for skilled players, unplayable for average players. She absorbs mana to convert into health, and her ultimate randomly unleashes a barrage of mana projectiles, much like Shangguan Wan'er's flying serve. Despite her supposedly high agility, she doesn't even have a place in the Chinese server rankings. This again demonstrates that versatile movement doesn't equate to strength. There are several other top examples in the Chinese server rankings: Shiranui Mai in eighth place, and Diao Chan in tenth—renowned mage assassins. Why can't they climb higher? The output environment is constantly changing, and complex controls, even with flashy movement, are less effective than a single, decisive strike—eliminating the greatest threat with maximum speed.
