Counter Strike 2: Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) face obstacles in their attempt to re-sign MIBR In-Game Leader LNZ..

Dust2 exclusively reported on Tuesday that Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), the Chinese-Swedish esports powerhouse owned by Mario Ho, son of the late Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho, has encountered obstacles in its efforts to re-sign LNZ, the current in-game leader of MIBR.

According to the report, despite NiP making several offers to LNZ, the Swedish player has remained unmoved and shows no interest in returning to the team, forcing NiP to look elsewhere.

Not long ago, HLTV exclusively reported that due to the highly inconsistent performance of their current in-game leader, Snappi, NiP was considering parting ways with him, and Snappi himself had expressed his desire to take on another position.

Since then, NiP has considered LNZ as their primary replacement for Snappi, but with this latest news, it is unclear which other players have been considered by NiP.

LNZ, 23, previously joined the Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) Academy, Young Ninjas, in 2021. He was later promoted to the main team as a stand-in due to his outstanding performance.

During his time with NiP, LNZ helped the team win the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) XVI Fall Europ and reached the quarterfinals of the PGL Major Stockholm.

In January 2025, LNZ moved to HEROIC, and then joined MIBR in January 2026.

Since joining MIBR, LNZ's best result with the team was a fourth-place finish at the CS Asia Championship.
