Newcastle United have officially announced the signing of Belgian international winger Fernandes Pardo.

Premier League club Newcastle United have officially announced the signing of 21-year-old Belgian international striker Matthias Fernandez-Pardo from Ligue 1 side Lille.

The two sides signed a long-term contract, and Pardo will wear the number 20 jersey. As a highly anticipated young attacker in European football, he is Newcastle United's eighth first-team signing in this summer transfer window.

Born in 2005, Pardo previously played for Gent. After returning to Lille, he quickly became a key rotation player, not only competing in European competitions but also helping Lille win third place in Ligue 1 and qualify for the Champions League last season.

Pardo's outstanding performance for the club earned him a place in the Belgian national team and a spot in the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA. His arrival will greatly enhance Newcastle United's attacking prowess and depth.
