Chelsea midfielder Enzo has officially joined Manchester City for a transfer fee of £125 million.

Manchester City announced on Tuesday that they have officially signed 25-year-old Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandes. The two sides have reached a five-year contract agreement, running until June 30, 2031.

According to TA chief journalist David Ornstein, Enzo's transfer fee to Manchester City was £125 million.

As a product of River Plate's youth academy, Enzo won one Argentine Primera División title and one Argentine Pro League Cup with the team at a young age. He also won one Copa Sudamericana and one Copa Sudamericana with Deportivo La Juventus, and added another Portuguese Primeira Liga title after moving to Benfica.

In January 2023, Enzo joined Chelsea for a record-breaking transfer fee of £107 million. To date, he has made 170 appearances for Chelsea, contributing 31 goals and 30 assists, and has won one European Championship title and one Club World Cup title.

At the national team level, Enzo has also made significant contributions. He has made 49 appearances for Argentina to date, scoring 8 goals and providing 6 assists, and has helped the team win the 2022 World Cup and the 2024 Copa America.
