Arne Engels believes the team has gradually built chemistry and trust, and is confident that they will perform even better in the future.

Arne Engels believes that West Ham United will soon achieve their desired results in the Championship as the team's cohesion matures. The team underwent significant squad changes this summer, with several new signings and young players, so they are still in the process of gelling. In an interview with West Ham TV, Engels stated that the team needs to give each other more time to truly demonstrate its competitiveness.  

He said, "I can clearly feel that the team is gradually forming a cohesive unit. Although there are many new faces joining this summer, they have integrated quickly and have already shown a good level. At the same time, some young players have also been given playing time, and their performances in the games have been equally satisfactory."
