Premier League – João Pedro scores as Chelsea beat Brighton 4-3.

The second round of the 2026/27 Premier League season continued, with Chelsea, playing at Stamford Bridge, defeating Brighton 4-3 thanks to goals from Lavia, Pedro Neto, João Pedro and Palmer.

Four minutes into the match, Pedro Neto took a corner kick, João Pedro's header was deflected, and Brighton goalkeeper Fabrizio fumbled the ball while attempting to clear it. Lavia seized the opportunity and scored with a low shot, giving Chelsea a dream start of 1-0.

In the 14th minute, Morgan Rodgers broke through the defense in the penalty area and crossed the ball, which Pedro Neto immediately tapped in, giving Chelsea a 2-0 lead over Brighton.
