César Pesciotto believes the team demonstrated remarkable resilience and fighting spirit, never giving up on the fight for victory.

Wolves manager Cesar Pescotto was highly impressed with his team's overall performance in their victory over Stoke City. He was particularly pleased with the comeback victory at a packed Molineux Stadium. Although Wolves conceded an early goal, they quickly adjusted, gradually took control of the game, and displayed a highly threatening attacking performance in the second half, ultimately securing a 4-1 comeback win against Stoke City.  

In just eight days, Wolves have secured three consecutive victories, showcasing a remarkable recent form. Cesar Pescotto believes the team has performed admirably in several aspects, particularly their ability to bounce back from behind, their imagination in creating chances in attack, and the aggressiveness of their defenders in the penalty area. At the same time, the players have executed the manager's instructions well, striving to make Molineux Stadium a formidable home ground this season.  

Speaking about the team's performance in this match, Cesar Pesciotto gave the players full praise. He said, "What makes me happy is not just the final victory, but more importantly, the process and manner in which the team won. We showed good content in the game. Although we conceded the first goal, the players quickly adjusted and responded with a positive performance. The team showed enough resilience and fighting spirit, never stopping in their pursuit of victory, and ultimately secured three valuable points."  

“Everyone believed in each other, shared our game philosophy and what the team represents, and was able to execute the game plan as intended. Even after conceding the first goal, our belief did not waver, which was very important. The whole team remained united, participating in the attack together and sharing the defensive responsibility. In the end, we scored 4 goals, but based on the chances we created, I think the team was fully capable of scoring more goals. The players played exceptionally well today.”  

“I never focus on individuals; I always emphasize the importance of the team. Today we truly played team football, which is more important than any individual statistic. Whether in attack or defense, all players were actively involved and willing to give their all for their teammates, both with and without the ball. As a coach, I am very satisfied to see the team perform like this.”  

Speaking about Wolves' victory at Molineux, Cesar Pescotto considered the match particularly significant. He said, "These three points are very important for us, especially coming back from behind after conceding an early goal. We must change our past home form and show a different spirit to our fans, making Molineux a difficult place for opponents to score. That was a very important goal for us. Today, the fans gave the team tremendous support; their cheers propelled the players and ultimately helped us complete the comeback."  

“I really appreciated the team’s unity today. The players, staff, and fans stood together, and that should be the standard for every game we play from now on. We will certainly enjoy this victory, but we must not forget that we have only added 3 points. We need to stay grounded and continue to dedicate ourselves to training and games as always. "Before the match, we developed a clear plan, and the players implemented it very well on the field. They knew how to maintain their formation in the defensive phase and understood which areas to focus on in the attack. More importantly, the players demonstrated what we emphasized repeatedly in training this week in the match."  

“What I’m most pleased about is that the team didn’t change its style of play just because it was leading. Throughout the game, we maintained a good formation and rhythm while constantly looking for opportunities. We could have chosen to retreat deeper and wait for the game to end, but the players didn’t do that and instead continued to stick to their own style of football. Of course, we’re happy to win, but the most important thing now is to stay calm because we’ve only completed one game.”  

Finally, when discussing how to maintain their current good form, César Pesciotto stated that the team's first priority is physical recovery. He said, "The most important thing now is to get the players back to full health as quickly as possible, because the next match is just around the corner. We will use the limited time available to adjust our physical condition and ensure that the team is back in top form. We will face a tough away game next, but wherever the match is played, we will go out there with the goal of winning."
