Aston Villa officially announced the signing of Nicholas Jackson.

Aston Villa have officially announced the signing of Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson. The Senegalese international joins Aston Villa on a permanent transfer. He had previously made 37 appearances for the Senegalese national team and represented them at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.  

Nicolas Jackson's move to Aston Villa means he will once again work with manager Unai Emery. The two previously worked together at Villarreal, where Jackson gained attention for his performances and ultimately earned a move to Chelsea in 2023. Last season, he spent time on loan at Bayern Munich, helping the team win the Bundesliga and German Cup double and contributing 11 goals.  

After two seasons with Chelsea in London and last season with Bayern Munich, Nicolas Jackson ultimately chose to join Aston Villa, believing it to be the best decision for him at this stage. He stated, "When I first came to Spain, Unai Emery was a very important factor for me."
