Counter Strike 2: Former HEROIC rifler yxngstxr officially joins Luminosity..

Canadian Counter Strike 2 (CS2) club Luminosity announced on Thursday via their official X (Twitter) account that they have officially signed former HEROIC rifler yxngstxr.

According to Luminosity's official statement, yxngstxr will immediately replace the benched lurrker Bymas as a member of the starting roster.

He will make his Luminosity debut in the Roman Imperium Cup VIII, which will be starting in mid-September.

Bymas, who previously played for Monte, was recently relegated by Luminosity after his team's poor performance in the last two major tournaments, resulting in their bottom-ranking elimination.

After a period of uncertainty in the first half of 2026, yxngstxr has finally found a stable home.

At the beginning of the year, he was relegated to the HEROIC bench, but later returned to the roster as a AWP-er while the club worked on resolving Alkaren's visa issues.

As a temporary AWP-er, this Swedish player who is of Vietnamese descent achieved an average rating of 1.00, helping HEROIC advance to Stage 1 of the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Cologne Major and winning championships in DraculaN Season 5 and Stake Ranked Season 3.
