Able to play as a defensive midfielder, Gueye is grateful for his teammates' help.

Manchester City, nicknamed "The Blue Moon," will travel to face Crystal Palace in a key match of the second round of the 2026/27 Premier League season. In an interview, Goy stated that his ability to fill in as a defensive midfielder is due to the constant support from his teammates.

With goals from Goi and Gwadiol, Manchester City came from behind to defeat Bournemouth 2-1 in their opening Premier League match of the new season, securing three points. Notably, Goi, a defender, played as a defensive midfielder against Bournemouth.

"I feel great and I'm comfortable in this position," said 26-year-old Guillaume. "The week before that game, the coach and I practiced this position extensively in training."
