Falcons' position 4 player Cr1t has announced his retirement.

After failing to reach the top eight at The International 2026 (TI 2026), Cr1t-, the position 4 player for Team Falcons, officially announced his retirement, ending his fourteen-year professional esports career.

In this tournament, Falcons ultimately finished 7th-8th. In a post-elimination interview, the veteran Danish player publicly expressed his decision to leave the competitive scene. Cr1t stated that The International 2026 will likely be his last TI.

Speaking about his experience competing in China and the atmosphere at the event, Cr1t said he was very happy to end his TI journey here. He said the enthusiastic support from the global audience was unforgettable and that being able to compete in top-level tournaments for a long time was a very valuable experience in his career.

Cr1t began his professional career in 2012, during which time he played for several top European and North American teams, including OG, Evil Geniuses, Shopify Rebellion, and Falcons.

Throughout his career, Cr1t has won a total of 15 top-level tournament titles, including the 2015 Frankfurt Championship, the 2016 Manila Championship, and the 2025 International Invitational Aegis of Champions.

Furthermore, Cr1t revealed during the group stage that this International would be the last time Falcons' current five-man roster competed together. With his official departure and coaching staff adjustments, Falcons is expected to announce more personnel changes during the upcoming transfer window.
