Venezia announced on its official website on Wednesday that they have extended the contract of its Serbia international goalkeeper Filip Stanković.
According to Venezia's official statement, Stanković has signed on a new long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.
After completing his contract extension procedures, Stanković, who was interviewed by the Venezia official website again, said: "I am very happy and proud to continue to be a part of this family. I want to thank the club director, head coach, my teammates, everyone in the club, and our fans for your tremendous support and love over the years."

About Filip Stanković
The 24-year-old Stanković was born on February 25, 2002, in Rome, Italy. He is 1.87 meters tall, plays as a goalkeeper and holds dual Italian and Serbian citizenship. His father, Dejan, is a former Inter Milan and Serbia legenrary international midfielder; his brother, Aleksandar, is a Serbia international defensive midfielder who also currently plays for Inter Milan; and his nephew, Milenko Acimović, is a former Slovenia legendary international attacking midfielder.
Stanković and his brother followed in their father's footsteps by joined Inter Milan's youth academy at a young age. In the summer of 2021, he was promoted to the first team and immediately loaned-out to Volendam for two years, where he would complete his Volendam first-team debut in August of the same year.
In August 2023, Stanković was loaned-out to Sampdoria.
The following August, he was loaned-out to Venezia. Despite failing to help the club avoid relegation, Venezia still decided to trigger his buy-out clause.
Since joining Venezia, Stanković has so far made 56 appearances for the newly promoted Serie A side in all competitions, conceding 58 goals and keeping 16 clean sheets, winning one Serie B title with the club.
