Alavés completes contract extension with its captain Antonio Sivera..

Alavés announced on their official website on Tuesday that they have extended the contract of their captain, Spanish goalkeeper Antonio Sivera.

According to Alavés' official statement, Sivera has signed on a new long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.

About Antonio Sivera

The 30-year-old Antonio Sivera was born on August 11, 1996, in Xàbia, Valencian Community, Spain. He is 1.84 meters tall and plays as a goalkeeper.

Sivera played for the youth academies of Alicante and Hercules as a child before joining Valencia's youth academy in 2013, and started playing for their B team in November of the same year.

In July 2017, Sivera moved to Alavés for €1.5 million.

Aside from a brief loan spell at Almería in January 2020, Sivera has been plying his trade at Alavés for nearly 10 years.

Since joining Alavés, Severa has so far made 179 appearances for the La Liga club in all competitions, conceding 200 goals and keeping 52 clean sheets.
