Carlos Colberán admitted that it was regrettable not to achieve the desired result, and the team still needs to continuously improve.

Valencia manager Carlos Colberán gave an interview after the team's 0-1 home defeat to Real Betis. He stated that the players had given their all in the match, but ultimately failed to achieve the desired result at the Mestalla Stadium, and the team was deeply disappointed at not being able to reward the fans with a victory.  

Speaking about the team's tactical execution during the match, Carlos Colberán said that Valencia needs to further reduce unnecessary mistakes. He said , " We must avoid losing possession unnecessarily, as this gives the opponent space for quick counter-attacks. When we regain possession, even if we can't create a direct threat immediately, we should try to hold onto possession as much as possible and avoid easily giving the ball back to the opponent, thus ensuring that the attack can continue to advance."  

“I think the team was able to make timely defensive transitions during the offensive phase and maintain sufficient pressure. Our defensive problems mainly came from the opponent's fast counter-attacks. They seized one opportunity to take the lead, and before that, they had actually created several threats in a similar way. I have to admit that they caused us a lot of trouble with their counter-attacks.”  

"What the fans want most is for the team to win. The atmosphere at Mestalla Stadium tonight was fantastic, with the fans providing tremendous support from start to finish, and our players fought until the very end. Speaking about the latest developments in the transfer market, Carlos Colberán revealed that Valencia is still actively looking for opportunities to strengthen its attack. He said , " We will continue to focus on signing players in attack, hoping to add one or even more. The transfer of Arnaud Martinez is very close to completion, and once this deal is finalized, our work on strengthening the defense will be basically finished."  

"At this stage, the team's focus in terms of recruitment is indeed on the offensive end. We hope to further enrich our forward lineup and improve the overall strength of the attacking third.
