Bologna completes contract extension with their captain Riccardo Orsolini..

Bologna announced on their official website on Monday that they have extended the contract of their captain, Italy international winger Riccardo Orsolini.

According to Bologna's official statement, Orsolini has signed on a new long-term five-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2031.

About Riccardo Orsolini

The 29-year-old Riccardo Orsolini was born on January 24, 1997, in Ascoli Piceno, Italy. He is 1.83 meters tall and primarily plays as a right winger, but can also play as a left winger.

Orsolini joined the youth academy of his hometown club Ascoli at the age of seven and completed his first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in April 2015.

On the 2017 winter transfer window deadline day, Orsolini moved to Juventus for €6 million, but was immediately loaned-out to Atalanta.

In January of the following year, Orsolini was loaned-out to Bologna, who subsequently triggered his buy-out clause in the summer of 2019.

Since becoming a member of I Veltri, Orsolini has so far made 310 appearances for the Serie A club in all competitions, scoring 87 goals and providing 33 assists. He was part of the team that helped them achieve a surprise Coppa Italia title and has reached the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals once.
