T1 donated 20 million won to support animal rescue and community welfare.

The South Korean League of Legends esports team T1 recently completed a stray dog rescue project called "Finding the Way Home" and donated 20 million won to the animal protection organization Korean K9 Rescue (KK9R).

The donation will be used directly to replace the outdoor activity platform at the rescue center, providing a space for daily exercise and socialization training for dogs awaiting adoption.

The project has helped 20 shelter dogs find new homes. Two dogs have already been successfully adopted, and the remaining dogs are expected to be adopted through South Korea and overseas networks by the end of 2026.

T1 leveraged its influence to expand the reach of its adoption information and covered all adoption costs, including transportation, vaccinations, and medical checkups. During its recent home event, T1 not only set up a booth to educate the public about adoption but also donated all proceeds from its charity merchandise packages to the organization.

In addition to club-level charitable projects, T1's players also actively participate in various social welfare activities. Top laner Doran donated supplies worth 7.5 million Korean won to an international aid organization to help children in two orphanages.
