Recalling his NBA career, Blake Griffin said he enjoyed shooting under pressure.

In a recent interview, former NBA star Blake Griffin recalled his experience playing in the league, saying that he enjoyed shooting in crucial moments and under pressure, and believed he would hit the target.

During his 13-year NBA career, Blake Griffin played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, and Boston Celtics, and was selected to the All-Star team six times.

In April 2024, Blake Griffin announced his retirement, ending his long and brilliant professional career.

"I've never been afraid to shoot in clutch moments, and I love those moments," said Blake Griffin, 37. "That's what I miss the most, including those high-pressure, high-profile moments."

"You really can't replicate that experience. That moment is too big, and the player has no idea what's going to happen next."

Blake Griffin shared, "Players may have their own tactical plans during a game, but at that point, everything can be disrupted, so you have to be flexible. I never think about what will happen if I miss a shot; I always think about what will happen if I make it."

"I remember even after my rookie season, I still had a lingering sense of insecurity during the offseason. I would think, what if I can't do it again? What if I can't have a good season? Or am I not good enough?"

Blake Griffin also said, "Even after proving myself to some extent, I still have these thoughts. But I don't mind at all, because it only makes me more eager to succeed."
