Toulouse officially announce the signing of Denmark U21s international midfielder Thomas Jørgensen from Viborg..

Toulouse announced on their official website on Thursday that they have signed Denmark U21s international midfielder Thomas Jørgensen from Viborg.

According to Toulouse's official statement, Jørgensen has signed on a long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030. He will also wear the number 8 jersey.

Furthermore, according to RMC Sport, the Ligue 1 club paid 5.75 million Danish kroner to sign Jørgensen, making him the most expensive player Viborg have ever sold.

After completing his transfer procedures, Jørgensen, who was interviewed by the Toulouse official website for the first time, said: "I am very happy to join Toulouse, and I can't wait to make my debut on the pitch and meet the fans, perhaps as early as Saturday when the season starts!"

About Thomas Jørgensen

Jørgensen, who is only still 20 years old, was born on September 30, 2005, in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is 1.84 meters tall and plays as a center midfielder.

Jørgensen played for the youth academy of Herfølge and København during his childhood, and joined Hvidovre on-loan in January 2024.

In August of the same year, Jørgensen moved to Viborg for 4.5 million Danish kroner.

During his two-year spell at Viborg, Jørgensen made 72 appearances for the Danish Superliga club in all competitions, scoring 9 goals and providing 12 assists.
