Flick praised new signing Rodri for being able to elevate his teammates' level.

Spanish star Rodri has officially joined La Liga giants Barcelona, signing a four-year contract. Flick expressed his delight at the midfielder's arrival and believes Rodri will elevate the team's competitive level.

Rodri previously played for Premier League giants Manchester City, winning four Premier League titles, one Champions League title, two FA Cup titles, three League Cup titles, and the Ballon d'Or in 2024 during his seven-year career with the "Citizens".

It's worth mentioning that Rodri and his teammates helped Spain win the World Cup in 2026.

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said, "Rodri is an outstanding player who brings something special to any team he joins. For me, it's fantastic to have him. I think he might be the best number 6 in the world."
