Sky Sports' renowned Italian transfer news journalist Fabrizio Romano, has exclusively slammed the fake news claiming that "Barcelona’s Spain international midfielder Gavi's transfer to Manchester United is imminent" through his official YouTube channel.

In the video, Romano bluntly slammed the rumours by saying that he had no idea where the rumour-monger who fabricated this out-of-thin-air story had heard such a preposterous rumour, and said outright that he didn’t even need to guess to know why this rumour had been concocted.

He harshly criticized the rumour by saying, “I don’t know how many times I’ve said this: don’t use the arrival of a certain player to ‘rationalize’ your rumours by claiming that another player on the team is ‘at risk’ and therefore must leave. I’ve repeated this hundreds of times—how is this happening again?!”

“I’d like to take this opportunity to address those of you who keep sending me direct messages on X (Twitter) asking about the truth behind the rumours regarding Gavi and Manchester United.
