Columbus Crew's French attacking midfielder Hugo Picard officially joins Troyes on-loan..

Troyes announced on its official website Tuesday that Columbus Crew's French attacking midfielder Hugo Picard has joined the club on-loan.

According to the newly-promoted Ligue 1 side's official statement, Picard will play for the club on-loan until the end of the new season, and the loan agreement includes a non-mandatory buyout clause.

About Hugo Picard

Hugo Picard, 23, was born on May 9, 2003, in Cholet, France. He is 1.68 meters tall and primarily plays as an attacking midfielder, but can also play as a left midfielder.

Picard joined the Nantes youth academy at age 12, moved to the Guingamp youth academy in 2019, and began playing for Guingamp’s reserve team in 2021, before completing his Guingamp first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in October of the following year.

In July 2025, Picard joined the Columbus Crew for $2.3 million.

During his time with the Columbus Crew, Picard made a total of 33 appearances across all competitions for the Major League Soccer (MLS) club, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists.
