AC Milan center-back Oddogu has joined Toulouse on loan and will wear the number 19 jersey.

Toulouse officially announced on Tuesday that they have reached an agreement with AC Milan for the loan of David Odogu. Odogu will play for Toulouse until the end of the 2026/27 season, and the contract does not include a buy-out clause.

Official sources also confirmed that Odgou will wear the number 19 jersey during his loan spell. Multiple sources indicate that Toulouse is expected to cover his entire salary.

Regarding Odgou's arrival, Toulouse president Olivier Klose commented: "We are delighted to welcome David Odgou to Toulouse Football Club. His arrival on loan from AC Milan fully demonstrates the appeal of our program and the trust placed in the club in developing young talent. We are delighted to welcome him and see him become a member of the team this season."

Toulouse sporting director Victor Bezzani added: “We are delighted to welcome David to the team. We had been scouting him since his time at Wolfsburg. He then joined AC Milan, but we have maintained contact with him over the past year. Now, we finally have the opportunity to bring him to our side. He is a very complete player, and his arrival will further strengthen our defense.”

Born in Berlin, Germany, the 20-year-old Odogu has Nigerian ancestry due to his father. He trained in the youth academies of several clubs, including Southwest Stögerlitz, Hertha Zelendorf, and Hertha Berlin, and will make his Bundesliga debut for Wolfsburg on April 6, 2025.

In September 2025, Oddogu joined AC Milan from Wolfsburg for €7 million. As a 1.91-meter tall center-back, he has only made three appearances for AC Milan so far, without scoring a goal or providing an assist.

After completing the transfer, Odgoogu said: "Last season in Italy was both very beneficial and provided me with valuable experience, which helped me grow as a player. Now, I hope to build on that and continue to grow at the highest level.
