Juventus officially announced the signing of Bologna center-back Lucumi on a four-year contract.

Juventus announced on Monday that they have signed Bologna centre-back John Lucumi. The two sides signed a four-year contract, valid until June 30, 2030.

The official announcement also confirmed that Lucourtini will wear the number 26 jersey for Juventus. His transfer fee is €19.5 million plus €2 million in add-ons, with an additional €600,000 in additional charges.

Lucumi, 28, was born in Cali, Colombia's third-largest city. He made his professional debut for Atlético Cali in the Colombian First Division on September 26, 2015. He then played for Genk for four years before transferring to Bologna in 2022 for €8 million.

To date, Lucumi has made 152 appearances for Bologna, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists. His most representative achievement for Bologna is undoubtedly winning the 2024/25 Italian Cup with the team.

After completing the transfer, Lucumi bid farewell to Bologna via social media: "It's time to say goodbye to this experience that will always hold a special place in my life."
