G2 mid laner Caps has been officially inducted into the League of Legends Hall of Fame.

Riot Games has officially announced that Caps (Rasmus Winther), the mid-laner for the European team G2, has been inducted into the League of Legends Hall of Fame.

Caps is the third professional player to receive this honor, following Faker in 2024 and Uzi in 2025, and the first Western player and a player from the European LEC region to be awarded this honor.

The official assessment is that Caps is a symbol of hope for Western esports. With his outstanding individual skills, creativity, and resilience under pressure, he has reshaped the competitive level of Western teams on the world stage and inspired an entire generation of players.

Caps began his professional career in 2015 and made a breakthrough in 2018 with Fnatic, winning two consecutive European championships and reaching the World Championship finals.

After transferring to G2 in 2019, Caps ushered in the peak of his career. He not only won the LEC Spring and Autumn Championships, but also led the team to win the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) and won the FMVP. He also led the team to the finals of the World Championship that year, setting a historical record for the closest Western team has come to a grand slam in a single year.

As the most decorated player in the history of the European region, Caps has won 18 regional championship trophies in his career (including 17 European championships and 1 Turkish championship), and is the first player in the LEC to reach the milestone of 400 wins and 2,500 kills.

Having competed for nearly a decade, Caps has broken through conventional tactical limitations with his deep champion pool and versatile positional skills, and he remains a core mid-laner for G2.
