Former Pacers guard Ethan Thompson has officially joined Partizan Belgrade on a two-year contract.

Partizan Belgrade announced on Sunday the formal acquisition of Pacers guard Ethan Thompson, who had previously been waived. The two sides signed a two-year, fully guaranteed contract worth €1.75 million, which includes an NBA opt-out clause that takes effect next summer.

According to Serbian media reports, Thompson's annual salary for next season will be 800,000 euros.

Thompson's move to Partizan Belgrade marks the temporary end of his six-month NBA career. As Partizan's eighth new signing this summer, he will play for the team in the KLS regular season.

The 27-year-old Thompson went undrafted in 2021 and has spent much of his career in the G League. He played for the Chicago Bulls, Mexico City Captains, Ociola Magic, and Sioux Falls Skyforce, appearing in 194 games and averaging 18.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.

In December 2025, Thompson signed a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers. To date, he has played 32 regular season games for the Pacers, averaging 7.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 20.4 minutes per game, with a field goal percentage of 37.8% and a three-point percentage of 32.8%.

Thompson also played 8 games for the Pacers' G League affiliate, the Noblesville Explosion, averaging 26.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.8 minutes per game, with a field goal percentage of 47.8% and a three-point percentage of 52.8%.

Meanwhile, Thompson also played in the G League for the Pacers' affiliate team, the Noblesville Explosives. He appeared in 8 games for the Explosives, averaging 26.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.1 steals in 33.8 minutes per game, with a field goal percentage of 47.8% and a three-point percentage of 52.8%.
