Glasner says Nottingham Forest are ready to face the Premier League.

In a friendly match at their home ground, City Stadium, Nottingham Forest defeated French side Brest 2-0 thanks to goals from Chris Wood and Luca Netz in the first half.

After defeating Bayer Leverkusen, Nottingham Forest finished their preseason with two consecutive home wins. They will play their first Premier League match of the new season on August 22nd, away against Leeds United.

In a post-match interview, Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner praised the team's performance. He stated, "It's very important to finish the preseason with a win; it will directly boost the team's confidence."

"This week we not only won the game, but more importantly, the tactical structure on the field became clearer. We seized our opportunities on the offensive end and basically did not give the opponent any space to cause threats on the defensive end. These are all very good signs."

Speaking about the upcoming league opener, Glasner pointed out key areas to watch out for: "The competition in the Premier League is completely different. Against Leeds United, the physical battles will be much more intense, and there will be more set pieces, which is something they are very good at."

Glasner specifically mentioned the fans' support at the end of the interview: "From the first day I arrived here, I could feel the players, staff and fans standing closely together. There will definitely be passive and difficult stages in the game, and that's when we need encouragement from the stands the most. Now the whole team is really looking forward to the official match next weekend."
