Iraola believes that the defeat and the experience gained will help Liverpool solve their problems.

Liverpool took the lead in a friendly match thanks to goals from Luke Chambers and Wirtz in the first half, but conceded four goals in the second half to lose 2-4 to Leeds United.

Szoboszlai took a corner in the 7th minute, and Luke Chambers received a pass from Kelkez Milos before slotting the ball home to give Liverpool a 1-0 lead. In the 40th minute, Frimpong passed the ball back from the penalty area, and Wirtz, despite the defense, fired a shot into the net, extending Liverpool's lead over Leeds United to 2-0.

In the 60th minute of the second half, Ethan Ampadu delivered a diagonal pass, and Brundon Allensen scored with a low shot, helping Leeds United pull one back to 1-2. In the 71st minute, Joe Rodon headed the ball across, and Calvert-Lewin slotted it home, leveling the score at 2-2 for Leeds United.

In the 73rd minute, Brendon Allensen passed back to Longstaff, who followed up with a low shot to give Leeds United a 3-2 lead. In the 85th minute, Sebastian Bornau headed the ball to Calvert-Lewin, who headed it into the net to make it 4-2.

Liverpool ultimately lost 2-4 to Leeds United at Soldier Stadium in Chicago.

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola said: "We learned a lot. It's certainly not the result we wanted, but I think it was our most valuable pre-season friendly this summer."

"Whether it was the positive aspects of the first half or the problems exposed in the second half, it all gave us a lot of inspiration. This game gave us a lot of experience, and we were able to draw valuable conclusions from it and solve some of the current problems."

Speaking about the performances of Wirtz, Isak, and Hrafenbech, Andoni Iraola said, "All three of them played very well in the first 45 minutes of their preseason game. Wirtz and Isak both came on in the first half, so they played relatively more easily and performed better overall."

"As for Hrafinberg, he faced a more difficult situation in the game. Frimpong asked to be substituted, but I don't think it was an injury, just some fatigue and overload. I hope he wasn't injured. I don't think any of our players have suffered any serious injuries."
